• Who can register for the 21st Century Extended Day Program?

      Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, while also reserving space for students who are identified by school leadership, teachers and student support teams as most in need of support. A submitted enrollment application does not mean that your child has automatically been accepted into the program.

       

      Our 21st Century Extended Learning programs are offered in elementary schools within the 桃花社区视频 桃花社区视频 District, where at least 40% of the student population qualifies for free or reduced lunch. As of 2024, the schools are identified as:

      Your child’s acceptance to the Century Program is only final when you receive an acceptance email from a member of the 21st Century Leadership Team.

       

      What is included in the 21st Century Extended Day Program?

      Each day after school, the 21st Century Extended Day Program provides our students with the following:

      • A healthy snack
      • Extended Learning Lab (formerly known as Homework Club) Monday – Thursday, facilitated by 桃花社区视频 桃花社区视频 District Teachers
      • 2 enrichment classes in the areas of STEM, Arts, Music, Physical Recreation, Leadership, Community Service and more!
      • Access to exclusive optional programming offered by community partnering organizations during the 21st Century program
      • A Family Engagement Event each trimester

      The 21st Century Program Tuition is the only fee associated with the program. You will not be charged any additional fees for any aspect of the 21st Century program.

       

      When does the 21st Century Extended Day program open for the school year?

      The 21st Century Extended Day program will typically begin the first Monday following Labor Day. The final day of the 21st Century Extended Day Program will typically be the last Friday in the month of May. The start and end of the 21st Century Extended Day Program’s school year program allows the 21st Century Leadership Team time to complete administrative and program operations-related tasks that are required by federally-funded programs.

       

      What days is the 21st Century Extended Day Program closed?

      The 21st Century Extended Day Program will not be open on school vacations, non-school days or holidays. Please review our Important Program Days for a list of all 21st Century Program closures.

       

      Will I be charged for days there is no school?

      On days there is no school in session, including school vacation weeks, holidays, and snow days, families will not be charged a fee. Families are charged for days their child misses the program when the program is still offered.  

       

      Are you operating on Early Release days?

      The 21st Century Extended Day Program will not be open on Early Release Days. Please review our Important Program Days for a list of all 21st Century Program closures.

       

      When do I make a payment?

      Payments are submitted weekly, and must be submitted prior to your child(ren) attending the program. 21st Century payment envelopes are available at your home school’s main office.

       

      Can I pay for additional weeks in advance?

      Yes, advance payments can be made for your child(ren). We ask that you indicate this on your payment envelope. 

       

      How should I send in my payment?

      21st Century payment envelopes can be found at your school’s main office. Be sure to fill out the front of the envelope with your child(ren)’s name. Students attending the program will be sent home with payment envelopes each week. Cash or check can be placed inside the envelope and can be dropped off in the 21st Century drop box in your school’s main entrance.

      Please make all checks payable to “21st Century Extended Day” and be sure to put your child(ren)’s name in the memo line.

       

      I need my payment history for tax purposes; what do I do?

      Many of our families will request their payment history for their taxes to apply for the  For payment records, please send an email request to 21stCentury@nashua.edu with the name of your child(ren) and their school. Be sure to allow up to 5 business days for us to send you your 21st Century payment history.

       

      I am not sure if I am eligible for the Free or Reduced 桃花社区视频 Lunch Program. What do I do? 

      The 桃花社区视频 桃花社区视频 District keeps this information confidential. However, if you are unsure whether you qualify for free or reduced lunch or not, we highly recommend completing the USDA Free and Reduced lunch form. You will need to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application each year.
